The Mosaic Workshop Exhibition Opening was a huge success! The workshops and Opening truly reflected our project title:
“STRENGTHENING COMMUNUTY FRIENDSHIPS AND RESILIENCE THROUGH THE ARTS”
It was so wonderful to welcome so many friends and family of the mosaic participants. Their work is greatly admired. Thank you to Nikirri Thwaites for offering to do a beautiful Welcome to Country. A huge thank you to all the following people who helped make the Exhibition and Opening a success : Skye McKenny for her beautiful singing and guitar, Deb Thwaites for all your help with prep and clean up etc, Claire Trolove for taking wonderful photos and food prep, Annie Roberts for professional curating, Jackie de Lorm for being my patient and caring Assistant during the workshops, Jacky Overington for taking workshop photos, Karin Brear for her support assisting and sales, Dimity & Byron for the much needed water dispenser, Kaz for the Fijian frangipanni hair decorations, my husband Bill for his continual support, and to all the participants for being such fun people to create, and laugh with making new friendships through this experience. 💗💗💗💗💗
