Iluka Emporium Inc., is thrilled to announce that we were successful in being awarded a grant for $10,000 from the Northern Rivers Community Fund for our project
‘Creative Workshops for Wellbeing, Resilience and Conservation’.
These creative workshops and exhibitions will be free to the Iluka – Woombah community and will be facilitated over a 6 month period from February 2022. After the devastation of the fires and impact of COVID19 our project addresses the need for community members to interconnect and be creative thereby promoting a sense of well-being and resilience using sustainable materials.
President Michelle Philip and Treasurer Linda Frylink Anderson attended the awards night in Byron Bay on the 1st of December. We are one of 49 community organisations to be successful. Thank you to all the sponsors of NRCF.
The Annual General Meeting of the Iluka Emporium was held on the 17th July 2021. We are extremely grateful to all our volunteers who work hard to keep the Iluka Emporium running smoothly. The new voluntary Management Committee was elected as follows:

It was a celebration of a very successful year for the Iluka Emporium. Annie Roberts was officially presented with her Life Membership certificate as our founder and for her continued dedication to the Emporium. We now have 26 general members with 17 exhibiting in our eclectic art space. We are a not for profit association providing an affordable space for local artists, hobbyists and sole traders. Members volunteer their time to be open 6 days a week ( Wed to Mon). Every day in the school holidays. See you soon! Note : the AGM was held at the Iluka Scout Hall

We all remember it as a fruitful, fulfilling and dynamic time.
Much was shared during our Jay professional time together and
friendships were forged, and our contact remains to this day.
This exhibition showcases artworks from each of us. It honours our
time working together, our ongoing friendships and our ongoing passion and belief in the immeasurable value of Art in one’s life.

Iluka Emporium Inc., is a not for profit Association supporting and encouraging local and emerging Artists. Current Exhibiting members are a group of Artists, Upcyclers and Collectors showcasing unique and eclectic works. Iluka Emporium is managed by volunteers who are members.
